"I had the incredible privilege to study abroad in Lyon, France as part of Western's Pay In-State Exchange program. While there, I earned credits in archeology, linguistics and history, improved my French dramatically, and visited more than a dozen countries! I was also able to save roughly $10,000 due to the affordability of travel, housing, and food compared to what I'm used to paying in Bellingham - I was saving more than $400 per month in housing alone!"

Gabe Roth, Class of 2024
