The academics were very similar to my courses at home. The program is called East and Central European Studies and all of my classes focused on Czech and Slovak culture. The area has a fascinating geographical and social history which I really enjoyed getting to dive into. There are tests and essays as with any courses. My suggestion is to not procrastinate so that you can spend as much time as possible out and enjoying the city at the end of the program.
