Program Description:

Cloud Project Taiwan Visit

Program Description:

The NTNU program consists of five weeks of professional development and lesson planning for 18 Taiwanese English teachers and their WWU/Bellingham and TESOL Certificate Program student partners on the WWU Campus, from July 10 to August 10, 2017.  This is followed by 10 online lessons (the “Cloud Project”) between WWU partners and the 18 English teachers and their classes in Taiwan (two lessons are conducted in January, 2018).  In December, the nine WWU partners visit Taiwan for one week, spending three days teaching English in each school and presenting on the project at a conference along with their Taiwanese teacher partners. 

Program Highlights:

Cultural and school visits in various regions of Taiwan with opportunities to teach children and present at an international conference.
