Larry Estrada is an Emeritus Professor at Fairhaven College and former president of the National Association for Ethnic Studies. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in Comparative Education and Latin American Studies from UCLA. His scholarship and research interests focus on social theory, education, immigration and the historical, socio/political development of the Latinx Caribbean region. He has taught overseas and lectured internationally at a number of different campuses and universities. He has formerly conducted faculty led courses to the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Cuba.
