Scholarships

Explore scholarships for study abroad! There are different opportunities for everyone. Be sure to read the criteria and eligibility requirements, and then apply! 

Students with Pell Grant funding are eligible for a variety of scholarships and discounts that significantly reduce the price of studying abroad. Some WWU students even manage to leverage fully funded opportunities with our partners! 

If you declare an International Business Major or Minor before you study abroad you may be eligible for an automatic $1,000 scholarship to study abroad. Contact the EdAbroad Office for details. 

Advising Info

College of Business & Economics (CBE) students can choose from any of the study abroad programs offered at WWU. This flexibility allows students to select the experience and location that best aligns with their interests, financial needs, and academic goals. Advisors recommend that CBE students go abroad during their sophomore year, and complete Foundation and Core degree requirements, GURs, and electives abroad. Many programs offer full course catalogs in English, so alternatively, you can work with your major advisor to determine other courses you may be able to take abroad as you finish your degree requirements.
