This honors program curriculum focuses on law’s global dimensions—international, European, comparative, and private—in courses offered by our partner, Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). The UPF Legal Studies Program provides introductory training in key areas. A minor or concentration in the areas of legal studies, international relations, or political science is helpful. Available in Spring Semester, this program is designed for students at all Spanish levels; classes are available in English and Spanish. After you complete the program, the UPF School of Law and UPF Study Abroad Programs will award you a certificate that attests to the successful completion of at least three law-related courses. You may also enroll in the optional Global Career Development Seminar, an ideal way to focus on future career success.

The CEA Barcelona Center, located on the Plaza Catalunya in the heart of the city, offers courses in a range of subjects, taught in English and Spanish. Learning takes place both in and out of the classroom, with instructors taking full advantage of Barcelona’s many notable sites and attractions. Students will receive a transcript from Pompeu Fabra University, and - if opted for a CEA course - also from the University of New Haven, CEA’s School of Record, upon completion of their program.
