After you decide on a program and the courses you will take abroad, you must complete the Departmental Academic Advising Esign Form with your academic advisor. The form must be completed before your program commences.

Web4U > Student > Student Records > Degree Works. Follow steps to see what you have completed, and what you still need for your degree plan. At least 50% of the credit hours required for the major/minor must be earned at Western.   

An official transcript from your program must be sent to Education Abroad for processing upon completion of your program.

CIEE - Gilman Go Global & GAIN Grants

Just by applying for the Benjamin Gilman Scholarship, students participating on CIEE Study Abroad programs will automatically receive Go Global grants! GAIN Grants available for students using a Pell Grant, and helps cover airfare.

    Students are encouraged to take part in the many extracurricular clubs. Most students also opt to take one or more courses in health and sports sciences. Some examples of this are kendo, judo, basketball and gymnastics. The Toyota campus hosts a wide variety of athletic facilities including an ice skating rink where Chukyo students trained to become Olympic champions.

      Whatever sport you’re into, there’s bound to be something for you here. Make the most of our gym, enormous sports hall, dance studios and a variety of recreational and holistic classes – from spinning to pilates. Student membership is free of charge for London Met students and gives you access to the Holloway fitness gym and unlimited access to timetabled classes.

      • The first week consists of lectures held by sport and soccer specialists and professionals belonging to the Technical Federation Center of FIGC (Italian football federation) at the MUSEO DEL CALCIO (Italian Football Museum) in Coverciano. During Weeks 2 and 3 students will attend classes at the AIFS GEC – Florence.
      • Field trips to matches at the local soccer stadium are an essential part of the course. Students can have field experiences and interpret the social dynamics of sporting events, adopting a comparative, cross-cultural perspective. Pre-requisites: Introductory/intermediate coursework in sociology (or equivalent), or advisor approval.
