Education Abroad serves the Western Washington University community to support meaningful educational opportunities abroad for all students, faculty, and staff. 

This includes:

• Non-credit co-curricular experiences
• Study away through National Student Exchange
• Study Abroad opportunities for WWU students

Our goal is to make study abroad affordable and accessible for all!

Not Sure Where to Start?

If you are curious about study abroad, but not sure where to start we have a variety of asynchronous and virtual resources to help you get started.

If you have questions, please reach out to one of our fantastic team of Study Abroad Advisors or our Student Peer Advisors. We are here to help you! We offer in-person, remote, 1-1 and group/family advising support to help you along the way. You can click on our photo links to schedule meetings with Peer Advisors and/or Staff.

Visit our office in Miller Hall 208. You are also welcome to give us a call at + 1 360-650-3298. Our office hours fluctuate based on staff availability, but in general we are open from 10am - 4pm during the academic year. You can reach us anytime via email EdAbroad@wwu.edu, and someone from our office will get back to you as soon as possible. 

In the case of an emergency and you need immediate assistance when the Education Abroad office is closed, please contact University Police at 360-650-3911.
