Want to stay internationally engaged at WWU? Join the WWU Global Ambassadors Club and attend monthly socials and professional networking events.
The purpose of Global Ambassadors is to provide a safe space for students who have been abroad, or international students studying here at WWU, to share their experiences with other students whom have also been abroad, as well as aim to connect with other internationally focused groups to promote an understanding and appreciation of global perspectives.

When You’re Forced to Break Up with Living Abroad
WE Connect
WE Connect is Western's online platform designed to provide alumni and students with professional connections and access to a robust network of support. Members can seek advice, explore job opportunities, and connect with peers in a specific field or industry. You can also serve as a resource to Western graduates and students by sharing your professional experiences or serving as a mentor. This platform will give you an opportunity to build and grow your professional network and collaborate with alumni, students, and Western faculty and staff, both online and in person.

Pre-Fall Quarter: Boat Cruise on Bellingham Bay
Note this event is cancelled until further notice due to COVID-19.
Connect with other returnees and incoming international students! A sunset cruise on Bellingham Bay on the Victoria Star 2, a 150-passenger boat. Pizza, soft drinks, and dessert will be provided. Leaving from Bellingham Cruise Terminal/Ferry Terminal, 355 Harris Ave, Bellingham. The boat will depart at 6:30pm and return to the ferry terminal at 8:30pm. A group will travel from campus together, meeting outside the VU at 5pm to take the WTA bus to Fairhaven and then walk to the ferry terminal. This group will also be traveling back to campus by bus at the end of the cruise. You may travel to the terminal with this group or take your own transportation. Registration is required as capacity is set at 100.
