Please note there are many other options available beyond what is listed. This is not a guaranteed list for credit transfer. Plan your Psych + Study Abroad experience

After you decide on a program and the courses you will take abroad, you must complete the Departmental Academic Advising Esign Form with your academic advisor. The form must be completed before your program commences.   

Review Your Degree Works  

Web4U > Student > Student Records > Degree Works. Follow steps to see what you have completed, and what you still need for your degree plan. At least 50% of the credit hours required for the major/minor must be earned at Western.   

An official transcript from your program must be sent to Education Abroad for processing upon completion of your program.

    The Science of Wellbeing

    The aim of this course is to provide an interdisciplinary overview of wellbeing as a scientific construct, with its underpinning biological, psychological, cultural and social determinants, exploring the factors that contribute to the wellbeing of individuals and populations. The course will focus on some specific topics that are central to wellbeing, such as quality of life, happiness, resilience and what factors promote them; creativity and the arts and how these are being used in evidence-based ways to improve health and wellbeing, both in everyday life, but also within healthcare systems. The course will encourage a comparative perspective on mental health and wellbeing in the United Kingdom, Germany and Denmark and students will examine government policy on mental health and wellbeing in each of these countries.
