CIEE Ambassador

About

I have studied abroad twice with CIEE. Once in high school, I spent a semester in Sevilla, Spain, with their traditional host family and academic program. Then, during my first year at Western, I participated in their open campus program while studying abroad with them in Rome, London, and Copenhagen. I'm a public health major with a minor in international studies. Studying global health abroad helped me better grasp the field and broaden my perspective. Overall, it was a learning and formative experience for personal development. From September 2019 to January 2020, I spent a semester studying Spanish abroad in Sevilla, Spain. I found that learning Spanish outside of high school helped me grasp the subject in ways that I couldn't have learned in a classroom alone, and it changed the way I looked at the subject in general. Going overseas for high school allowed me to develop my Spanish and interpersonal, empathetic, and analytical skills. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have about CIEE and the programs we offer!
